Terms and Conditions:
1) Drives Doctor data recovery lab is not responsible for any costs or damages of any kind incurred during recovery or shipping process.
2) After notification to the customer about successful or unsuccessful data recovery the customer has 30 days to pick up their hardware and data. After that period Drives Doctor takes no responsibility for the data or hardware left at its premises.
3) The customer agrees that Drives Doctor may use subcontractors for specialty recovery situations.
4) The destination drive must be bigger than or equal to the faulty original media in good working condition without any valuable data.
5) Jobs that have been approved and begun recovery processes are charged at full price if the customer chooses to cancel in mid recovery.
6) In many cases, parts may be required for the data recovery attempt. The customer agrees to pay for two parts drives. Authorization required to purchase more than two. Regardless of the outcome.
7) HDDs that have been opened prior to Drives Doctor require an attempt fee of $100 and are subject to a 50% surcharge. These cases are much harder to recover and have lower chances to be recovered in general.
8) There is a 50% surcharge for SAS/SCSI Drives.
9) There is a $100 Attempt Fee for some difficult cases of HDDs, SSDs, Smart Phones and some laptop models that are difficult to open like MacBooks and slim ultrabooks. Please contact us to know if you have one of those cases.
Limitation of Liability
a) Drives Doctor data recovery lab is not responsible for any damage caused to the media device(s) during shipment and the recovery process. Drives Doctor is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, incidental or consequential, before, during or after service.
b) Drives Doctor Data Recovery is not responsible for any items left more than 30 days after confirming results. Drives Doctor Data Recovery is not responsible for any recovered data after more than 7 days of being picked up or shipped to the client. Payment required in full before the release of data.
c) The client authorizes Drives Doctor Data Recovery, its employees, agents, to receive, transport service the media(s) in, to, from between various facilities.
